Old Descent model?

Any plan to use it at all? If not, why not make it another warp-in able experimental ship?

I second that.....it won't happen.  Hell, I wanted to see the Promethis as a new experimental or new warp-in.

Heh okays then. Either way, they should add more variety to the Experimental Warp in. You should even have a chance to get complete shit. Okay maybe not complete shit... How about something like the Missouri from Klingon Academy, a ship good at only one specific aspect of combat, but could be harried to death by Birds of Prey.

Well if they decide to add in more Avatars (which im praying they do) im sure they can find a place for the old Descent :-P

Also, i loathe the nacelles of the new Descent, theyre what make me hate it mostly.

Hmmm.... I came to like it, same as I've come to like the "new" Descent.

You could always add it yourself, provided you can come up with a reasonably balanced odf. If it was good enough, you could even ask if the devs would include it as a map object (like the Promethius is now).

The old descent was ok but it left something to be desired. It just reminded me of a Galaxy on steroids. IMHO. The new descent was a definite improvement over the original...
I agree that a new warp-in would be awesome however it's a sensitive topic because not everyone agree's on what it should be. Canon vs non-Canon etc.


Aside from the prometheus I think we are running out of options for experimental 'canon' ships. So who knows...

Canon? The only canon i care about are phaser canons! lets be real, there isnt enough content to make a decent RTS game based solely on stuff from the shows. Either way, they've already said the promy will not be the next experimental ship. Lets hope for something bad ass though :-P

Canon means "is within the fictional universe". Cannon is what a ship fires.

The new Descent is built almost entirely for defence, the old model could be used for its muscle-bound, offensive counterpart.
