hey, welcome to the FO forums.

there are countless posts about the prometheus, and if i remember rightly its supposed to be included as an npc or unique vessel or something (same kinda thing as the scimitar) some time in one of the future releases.

i havnt heard much about the yacht, but aint read alot of topics here so idk =) sounds like a nice idea, but u may find its also included under the unique vessel section of FO, maybe as a special weapon for a hero ship, again in one of the future releases.

well the prometheus will never be available as a main ship in Fo from what i remember a while back no matter how many times we asked

as for the Yacht thats a nice idea but i dont really see the benefit of it to be honest and if i remember rightly they were using the Intergration seperation Sods for something else so its not gonna get done

but keep the ideas comming :)

Well one thing I think the Defiant class should be upgraded (it was suposed to be a prototype killing machine) hard hull good shield and a lot more firepower than it has now.

What do u think?

I think the Defiant isn't that bad the way it is in FO. Just take two of them and research the critical shot and engage not more than a realistic number of opponents with them. It works fine. :ph34r:

But if I'm not totally wrong there will be a redo of the Defiant. At least it will look better afterwards. ;)

Well i think the Defiant is perfect the way it is at the moment except for one tiny thing the speed needs to be increased its too slow

Dito! Please make the Defiant faster. I think more speed would be much closer to the impressions you got from TV. And: It's simply too small to be that slow ;)

Now that I see this thread, I can stop posting in my own.

Ideas ? Well the breen battleship ?

Dont know how tha AI decides which system is crushed by the energy weapon, but to me it looks like it always hits the sensors. That doesnt really do much.

Would it be possible that at least, two systems are shut down ? I mean...its one of the biggest ships and its expensive but doesnt really hit whereit hurts.

Hope you know what I mean.

use two ships mate and see what happens :P it's not really fair if it would always hit weapons or shields.

Well it can fire 4 of those dampening weapons I think. With 1 of them your bound to hit it where it hurts ;)

And its expensive cause its a very strong ship, long range + very powerful weapons + good shielding, not much more 1 can ask for in my book ;) ;)

Yea, you're right. I didnt see that it only takes 30 special energy poins to fire one of them. If you have more ships, they can become really nasty. XD

By the way, are there any special abillities planned for the Dom-Dreadnaught ? Any general information ? Size, cost, power, build like the artillery ? Or does only the idea to implement it exist ?

Another thing: Which 3d Programm do you use for your models ? I'm used to 3dGmax, maybe I can help. (I made the 3d models for the Cnc Zero hour Mod - Rise of Europe)

I decided to post this here since its not really big enough for its own topic:

Is it possible to stop derelicts from self-destructing if they arn't boarded in a certain ammount of time? It's annoying having to race if you want to get the derelict, or watching one you really wanted blow up. Also, having no time limit would allow map makers to place derelicts in harder to get to places instead of having to put them were they can be got to quickly.

Ok another request:

Breen - light cruiser: Why does the cloaking need 100 (!) special energy ? The romulans and klingons dont need that much, they can cloak, decloak , cloak again...and so on.

You even have to pay for the cloaking abillity of the Breen, then it should be as effective as all the others.
