New Special/ability idea - False warp signature

Well, I explained the full mechanic and how to balance it out so yeah, it's pretty complicated.
All the players would need to know is, the ship can cloak without them realizing it cloaked. They might be fighting an illusion while the real one escapes undetected. But yes, I agree that it isn't much more useful than the current cloak. It's just a little bit more awesome.

I feel crasy lazy so I just read the first 5 posts.
I like the first idea, but I think I can altre it a bit.
make passive ships (ships that don't automatically go with warships when you select both) be able to generate false warp signatures. miners, constructors, newton class and possibly scouts. but make them able to only simulate first tier ships.
this ability should last,in my opinion, 10 seconds at most, maybe 15.
for any bigger ships, 1 or 2 races that have a couple of well armed ships, that can simulate any ship, act as bait or just act unimportant.
maybe 1 last thing, "real" false warp signature: 1 ship replicates its warp signature so it looks like there is 10 ships when there's only 1. INTIMIDATION
and what if the main base sent decoys, maybe as an upgrade? when enemy ships in main base sensor rage, decoys come up and get autotargetted by enemy ships. this last one should go to the feds. best tech...
