Hi!
I have even a few thoughts about some new game modes.
The following occurred to me:
Sector-Control Mode:
The sector Controll mode is somewhat similar to the familiar scenario in Battlefield 3 Conquest, or World in Conflict.
- Both teams have only a limited number of tickets.
- Both teams hava a shipbuild-limit
- The map is divided into so-called sectors.
- The objective here is to take various space stations. This is possible if one or the ships of his collaborations ended placed in close proximity.
- Each sector has a space station. The more ships are within range of the station are, the faster the sector captured.
- Each Sation has some defense turrets in here neighborhood
- The more controlled sectors, the team reduced the faster the tickets of opponents. Are these to 0, the team has won.
- If an enemy Unit gets destroyed the opponent loses, depending on the strength of the unit according some tickets.
Right now I just ask myself how to reconcile this with the base building.
Either let it away, and you can call the ships with Warp-In?!
Or you can let it in, and the buildings are invincible.
The Warp-in scenario would have its advantages.
- If a Veteran-Ship gets destroyed, you can Warp-In it again. However, it cost a tribute to the tickets, depending on the rank, and the shipclass.
What do you think about it? To much work, or a bad idea.
Best regards

i like this idea alot
especially with the warp in but would you be able to choose which ships you get (but the more of a single type you request the more expensive it gets?
or there is a counter of how many of each ship available there is and you choose from that available list)

I think the option with the counter would be better for this Game Mode. The counter loads up after a time again. Of course, such that a massive spam is not possible. A limit of ships should also already exist.
other possibility:
You start with a small selection of ships. Once you have captured a sector, you get slow resources. More sectors you have, the more resources you get. In a special yard you can then build your veterans again. Of course, to more expensive prices and some deduction of tickets.
Like CoH or Warhammer 40K Dawn of War I +II
