New Cool Idea

i have a cool idea how about a flag ship idea when you have built a ship you like for example a defiant class or something else like a akira you select it,choose the option to turn it into a flag ship and the ship increases in shield strength has stronger hull plating and gains new special weapons a passive abillity could be that all ships surrounding the ship could increase there efficenty simillar to the death chant lol

what do you all think about it especially optec ^_^

and if it gets destroyed, your fleet gets stat decreases, pretty cool

perhaps not a passive death chant though.

I dont like it, because it deletes one strategy from the game, and thats rushing If maybe somehow u could get it later in the game that would be great, but not at the beginning

to get it later in the game, you would probably have it as a buildable ship which means once you've unlocked it via the tech tree its the only shiup most people will build.

Unless

A) You can only build one of them using some kind of reasearch pod idea.

There is some way to allow a special weapon to only be activated once by 1 ship only and this would upgrade one of the battleships to a Hero ship

At the moment we have no plans for hero vessels or flag ships Maybe in a later version but thats still undecided. We want to keep it simple after all

You will, of course, see heros in a single player campaign, if there will be one
