New Borg Concept

first of all, i know v3 is comming out and some (or many) things will change, and i know optec said the borg will get a complete new "more borgy way" of playing (his words)...
but i thought about some things, as i played fleetops last week.(before my pc messed up, but thats another story
)
i thought about an old wish i had for the borg:
- inceasing the rate of the dronepool getting new ones, rapidly like, tripled amount of the actual rate...
- double or triple the costs of the big ships, the hullpoints, firepower, specialenergy (to balance it with the costs and for more possible assimilation, without sending out two cubes to assimilate a akira for example, and refit them after that, i think thats kinda dumb cause its their biggest ships and they assimilate the most ships if they can use it wanted it that way that a cube is a match against at least 4 souvereigns or so.. the smaller the more ships u need...)
- give the cubes holding and assimilation beam (so that they dont need to recrew after assimilation, which is not realistic cause they would use the crew of the assimilated ship
)
- and a mass of drones on board of every ship (like 5000 on a sphere, 10000 on a cube or stuff like that, which could be done through the first point)
- a bit bigger scaled ships then now (for more atmosphere, specially for the cubes, in memories to the movies and the series
)
cause it would make them:
- more powerful but in a balance itself that way
- more realistic view, cause u can get scared if u dont got enough ships to stop them
- and it would be hella fun as a borgplayer or against them...

how do you come to that? just wait for optec answer your thread, looks like borg is his domain anyway just be patient, every thread is answered sooner or later.

Well yeah u have some good ideas, but the balancing would be really difficult with borg ships being that strong

the borg will get a global redo for v4 and you can expect some of the ideas from this topic in the new concept, too

but hey, i think there is a failure in the games/movies... cause of the borgs cutting beam, remember the tng episode where the cube got them with their holding beam and "cuttin" parts out of the hull of the saucer? it was not a shot type... it was more like a surgery to "complete" there own ship... i think it would be more than just great to get such a thing... like faster regeneration of the hull through cutting ships into pieces
