It would be nice if there were nebula that didn't disable shields (as it seems Borg get such a distinct advantage on shield downing nebula). (don't have to remove the existing ones...)

Edit: It would be nice to be able to build in the non-shield disabling nebulas

Hehe, out of all your ideas, this one seems the best.  Make the mutara nebs and the crystalid (blue) neb not disable shields.  They would still serve their purpose of hiding vessels and and mutaras would still have the sensors go out, but the no shields thing definitely sucks.

Also, if we had to counter this, make the green nebula increase hull regeneration rate by a small percentage.  It wouldn't mean as much to the other races, but it would be huge to the borg if done by a percentage.  That way Both races benefit from the green nebulas, and the other races don't get shafted by purple and blue.

Aye, excellent ideas.

Or also like I said in my own thread it would solve the problem if the Purple and Blue nebs turned off Borg regeneration.  That way they can still hide their cowardly selves but they cant use it to launch attacks with impunity while they regenerate.

I think that would work quite well (perhaps just turning off all special abilities would do the trick, I don't know  :sweatdrop: ). Having shields disabled in a nebula allows some unique strategy amongst the factions due to differential hull strengths, and I wouldn't want to see that vanish entirely.
As for Yandon's edit: if you take away the blocking triggers, you can build in the Nebulae :)

EDIT: oops, that last piece of advice is utter nonsense  .
