nebula effect

is it possibale to make the 'ship coliding with the nebula's clouds' effect.. like we see in the opening credit of voyager? (maybe some kind of animation in front of the ship? )

Ah man that would be sooo cool!  I don't think that's possible given the game mechanics but it would be pretty cool!

I looked over in armada 2 files to see if there was anything like that, no luck.  That would be really neat.

Been suggested in the past as well - I think the assumption is that someone would have to create a sprite to make it look like the shields are being damaged constantly. Maybe the Devs have come up with an easier and more realistic way to do this in the meantime though, cuz that would be nice.
