Nebula-Class Model

This is a case of serrrrrrrious nitpicking, but is it possible in the future to give the Nebula the correct deflector dish?



The model looks fantastic as it is, but the dish from the 6-foot Galaxy model looks kinda boring in comparison.

Maybe if the models get upgraded at some point this dish could be done instead?

I believe the shape of the deflector dish has changed a few times

Yeah, the physical model looked like this, then when they had to build a CGI one they kitbashed the CGI Galaxy. Lots of the unique details were lost, like the deflector dish and secondary hull shape and the amount and distribution of the windows and escape pods. I dunno, I think all the little differences give it more character.

Again, it's kind of a stupid request, but if it ever has to be rebuilt it'd be awesome if it was modeled off the physical filming model.

I've heard that future versions will have several physical variations for ships, especially Warp-Ins. As both varients are equally canon, the Model/CGI differences could be present on different FO Nebula's too.

As much as i enjoy ST, that is just plain scary.

Heh, yeah, you're probably right, it is pretty scary. I've just been on a recent binge of reading about the concept art and production design for the shows, seeing how the style changed over time and trying to get better at concepting and drawing myself.

I guess it just stuck out at me after reading through all those articles and looking at all those pictures.

And yeah, it is kind of a pointless thing to ask for.
