Well the tractor beam would work as the combat tractor beam???
Or like u could only tow broken ships with it??

All star trek ships have tractors, throw them in for all ships.

For strategic reasons, few ships from each race should have tractor beams (ships like Galaxy, D'deridex, V'orcha...).

Why? Why not every ship? Not like you can use it on enemys. Just to pull disabled ships from approaching enemies.

i get your point guys, but armada limits us there. we require button space for special abilities but of course we will again think about it if there isn't a better way.

You can shove like 4 special weapons on ships so most ships could get one, I'd be content with that.

Mabey have it on one avater for the feds, i agree that all races races should have it but onay big ships in other races, Lets say the avater that gets the tractors on all the ships personality(if there is personalities in the avaters)is that he is known for salvaging every ship he can even if it means stealing a borg cube

yeah thats a good i dear have a salvage one one that is such a skintflint he won't leave even an empty shuttle behind if somthing on it can be used and he gets bonus to mining ect and things cost cheaper andhe also gets tractor beams on most ships i like it!

Although I agree that maybe tractors should be a special weapon on only a few ships for balance, the game is getting so complicated that it might be better just to add it to all ships destroyer and up. I don't know about you guys but I don't have time to tractor damaged ships unless it's big and expensive, in which case it can probably take care of itself anyway.
