when the game is paused you cant change your chat settings, so if the opposing team pauses you cant speak to them about how long they are gonna be.

also when paused you obviously cant use the mouse to move around the map, but u can use keyboard arrows for scroll.

the todo list says something about inline chat commands. Also the second thing has to do with the fact that the pause is an overlay on the game (which is how they got the screen to dim)

That was just about giving them hotkeys if I recall correctly - but Myles' suggestion would be a welcome one too :D

idk if its hotkeys or a prefix on the chat that defines who is going to be able to read it.

hey jan, i disagree wtih your moving of my post *shakes fist*  :wheelchair: (i couldnt comment on the move notice as its locked)

when the game is paused chat remains enabled, so chat only functions such as changing from ally chat to all chat should be available, thats why i put it in the bug reporting forum, unless it was intended that you should remain chatting to your allies.

the second one is definitely a bug, when paused you shouldnt be able to look around the rest of the map and decide your next move, the player who paused and had to answer the phone etc cant look at anything lol.

but more importantly did i tell you how much i respect you jan? you're an excellent person, not just because you're a mod. please dont ban me

Heh, he doesn't have the power to ban  ^-^ . I agree with Myles - this is more of a bug then a feature request, as we are dealing with an unintended consequence.
