Move aside and let the man go through

Request:

When placing a building, have any units in the way, move aside (automatically)

When giving an order to a unit, and the unit needs to go through another, the 'in the way' unit moves aside (then gets back into position after letting first unit through).

Sounds like a good idea for station placement, but what about cloaked units? That'll make it even easier for stationary fleets to find cloaked ships.

Hehe, I believe very recently that Doca just discussed the first idea here on the forums :) . Except that I think it bumped units  :sweatdrop:

I didn't understand about this.

If you move a cloaked ship, the other units with advanced anti-cloak upgrade can detect you???

And if you let the cloaked ship stopped, no one can detect you.

Is it???

I'm talking about non-cloaked ships moving out of the way for the cloaked ones they can't see to pass. The current way, they have to be moving to avoid cloaked ships, this way they wouldn't.

Indeed - I like that the moving ship is the one doing the avoiding. Makes more sense :)

Agreed with makes more sense, but gets in the way of 'intent'. If the 'going around' weren't so inefficient, I wouldn't have an issue with it (as it is, it takes like 3 times as long to go around as oppose to going in a straight line - it's annoying from (my) usability perspective).

SC2 does both, and I appreciate found that I appreciate it (the 1st, a lot, the 2nd idea, is just nice).

I supposed I don't mind too much - other than for cloak. That'd just be extremely odd to see  :sweatdrop:
