I know it's still theoretical because 3.0 is still in beta version.
After the release of the mod, will be the modders allowed to make and release modifications for the modification? It would be great  ^-^

there already were some fleet operations mods and yes, it will still be allowed, as long as you follow a few rules, like including credits and a link to the site in your mods documentation

Happy moding!

lol I think if the team were to say you cant mod their mod/game it would be very hypocritical I mean they got their start because some game dev decided they should make their game modable  I think allot of people (at least I) would lose some of their respect for the team if they did not allow any one to make mods of their mods

I know that it is only in the beta atm but is there any special build commands for each race as i've added a race and when it builds it crashes but if i set the race to use an existing race details (in the race = "" coomand of the starting unit) it works fine except the race logo is the races you set to use the details from

I'm looking forward to all the new features in V3 especially the new warp-in-effect. The modification I was working on worked a lot with warp-in ships but it was disturbing to see the ships pop up from out of nowhere. So I guess I'll give it a new try, some day

well going a long way about it i've managed to get the noxter/8472 back when will you guys be doing mod support (or will you do mod support) as its not the best way to do it

As far as I know there won't be any mod-support.
Uhm, I guess the team has already lots of things to do without that.  :sweatdrop:

But as we have some modders among us I'd suggest to open a modding thread or something like that where the modders can help each other. As we all have different leves of experience in modding FO it could work and maybe once in a while someone of the staff feels bored enough to give some hints, too  :D
