Could the Mixed-Tech menu in Map Editor be edited to have all Ships added to the list instead of just the MT exclusive and indentify which race a particular MT ship/yard belongs to using the 'label' odf command like the stock Emterprise (label = "Defiant Class - Klingon", for example), or give each Yard its own list.
If it was added to the game by default, it would be easier to add a specific MT version of a ship or yard to a map. Avatars are given their own lists with all relevent ships/stations, why exclude Mixed-Tech?

This isn't exactly about the map editor..but i do have a question about mixed tech....
Looking at the Mediterranean construction ship odf im curious about some coding thats there..namely lines such as these in particular
builditem12availability = 2
builditem12availabilityparent = 0
now these lines reference to the Dominion mixed tech yard.... Now...for my own game...say i want to be able to build a Romulan outpost that warps in romulan warbirds...but i have to have the romulans as an ally...do these lines need to be present for that to occur?

Fastest thread hijacking I've ever seen
.
Tyler, I agree that the Map Editor could use a little more love in that regard. Luckily we got some nice feature upgrades to it recently and I'm guessing they'll keep improving it as time goes on. I hope that they add this as one of them
