Ewms already got a thread like this  I wouldn't mind minefields, as long as they only damaged enemy ships.

I would say no to automatic minefields, just because I hated the defiant's mines in A2. They were a real ***** because you could not destroy them or even see them, they were just there waiting to blow your battleships into little pieces. No fun.

the romulan generix support refit is now capable of laying down plasma mines if upgraded on level 2 - yep, it's a support vessel with 3 levels of special abilities :)

B) will they act like the A2 defiant's antimatter mines? laying around for a bit untill they detect enemy ships, then BOOM :shifty:

@jan... drone 599, you are not needed at the conn, relinquish command to junkie 516 and report to waste desposal for reassignment. :D

yep they are similar to the anti matter mines from armada2. They are permanent (till they explode) so you can build ab mine fields with mutliple Generix Support Refits :)

haha those sneaky romulans. it seems like playing as the romulans will demand a much more overall sneakiness than in version 2, I'm very excited.
