I know that eventually everything will be made topsy-turvy (as with all things it seems
), but I would really really like to see the following things be available in the map-editor.
1. A Number system placed on the grid.
[tt]Right now literally counting squares is required to ensure that certain critical things are placed in equal positions. It's frankly impractical on maps that begin to get too large. Spacing has been shown to be one of the biggest factors on maps that are most frequently played and that comes down to the editor.[/tt]
REQUEST: Every 10th line a small indicator of sorts (maybe in RED
). Nothing too drastic or anything, but at the corner of every 10 squares there could be a small mathematical indicator to let a fella know where his moons are placed and such
.
-- Before anyone says "OMFGWTFROFLCOPTER JUST READ THE X AND Y VALUES IN THE DETAILS!!!"... let me remind you that it takes a LONG time to do that if you're making an entire map. Try it.

i agree with first post but maybe color code for ever 5 grid so at grid 5 it's blue, at grid 10 it's red at grid 15 it's something just like the future US dollor... (FYI i hope its rejected and burned down for the us $ i mean)
