Making Mines useful

in this idea i am tring to out line a whay to make minds use full.

the one minds aproch to minds did not work well. but i think if a ship layed 5 minds at one time it cood be use full. and the minds shood say on the map langer. and wen thay hit a ship a small exspotion is seen.

Its an ok idea but I never liked mines, they are either to powerful or useless, in other words realllly hard to balace

well you could introduce a mine layer for a race . you could buiild a wall of mines instead of turrets

That wouldn't work well because the race with mines would constantly have to rebuild the wall while the race with turrets would not.

thare are things to pre vint this make it take alot of speshal nery to do. give the minds a time limet. or make a whay to kill the minds

Ohhhhh... sorry ewm90. I still thought you ment the contruction ship would build mines. I love the idea of a support ship laying mines like that a2 defient.
