Make the Tavara shoot bullets

So I had an idea for the Tavara while watching a replay tonight. When you purchase the first offensive upgrade i though it would be interesting to instead of making all the weapons more powerful, it would add 2 particle weapons. The weapons should still deal the same amount of dps. I think it would provide a nice varation in the weapons. However i am just trying to learn romulan so if you are very much opposed to this please comment.

Projectile Weapons deal more damage to ships with stats less than 20, but that could be an interesting suggestion

I'd think that the Tavara, out of all ships, would be the least likely to mount projectile weapons.  Largely because it's powered by Omega particles, so energy concerns...aren't a concern.

Though more variety in weapon systems wouldn't be bad.  (I reference projectile vs particle due to the subject of bullets).  It could certainly power an astounding variety and array of weapons.

Romulans using bullets confuses me, seems more Klingon.

When I think 'bullets', I think 'little projectile that bounces from the hull' rather than stealth. Klingons are the ones who like old weapons.

if we give the tavar the frigate's guns then it will munch on miners even faster than now, is that something we want? i say yes!

but the tavara will then have so many weapons, torps, beam, pulses, guns, chicken drumsticks it may get a little too busy.

Actually when i made this post i was thinking that the Frigates and the Leahval rank 4 ability were the same thing however they arent. But the way that levahval fires is more attractive to me. Because it doesnt fire very often i am of the opinion that it really wont be that much more busy than a regular tavara is.

Hm good point about the Omega Particle: the Tavara does have so much power that it wouldn't really need to mine materials like the Frigate and Saihr do
