Long Range Tactical Sphere

Are there any plans to add the Tactical Armour module to the Sphere? and a possible weapons range increase to Long?
This Sphere variant does exist within cannon

The 'Long range Tactical Vessel' isn't a Sphere varient, it is the Sphere. There was never a Sphere seen with Tactical Armor in-series.

And it's canon, not cannon. We have enough cannons in the show.

I dont think that the sphere that was launched by the cube was a full fledged shpere rather it was a mini-sphere.

No speifics were given on that one, including reasons why it was weaker than normal, other than the time portal or its distance to the exploding Cube that ripped open a Starfleet ship closer than the Sphere was

well that is true but check out this ex astris scentia and he says that the sphere is considerably smaller

Which is also true for the Akira, Defiant, B'rel, Excelsior and many other ships. The Defiant itself was also about a third to half its normal size in that same film.

Unfortunately the series' and movies often contradict themselves as far as ship sizing... for whatever the reason.

I think a single Tactical Armor Module might be interesting.  Added defense at the cost of the Third regen mod or the Prime mod.
