Let's use the nebulas

the more on I play this fabulous mod, I start wondering wheater you could  improve the nebulas and it's effects.

In case you do plan to add another species like 8472 they should be able to live in nebulas and reproduce their. Or foreign species that live inside those nebulas could give the game another cool touch. Maybe some non-playable races like Ferengies or so could live inside there... Anyone remember the first TNG episodes 1.13 especially with the lifeform which feeds from life? Maybe it could wipe the crew from ships with weak or deactivated shieldings.

Maybe with a power generator or something similar romulans or feds should be abel to build stations inside nebulas (pink, green...) and see whats going on in there...

Indeed I like the concept of there being Nebula with no effect that you can build in. The same thing goes with asteroid fields. Fortunately with V3 the asteroid fields naturally have no collision so I've made several maps where you can build in them, but sadly there are no Nebula that have no collision.

One nebula I really liked and would like included again is the Radioactive nebula, or something similar that drains crew...

I like the idea of a race living in a nebula. Perhaps the Noxter could be that race? Optec? DOCa Cola?

Building in a Nebula well I think you can just change a command or two in the Nebulae odf files to allow that but the effects of the Nebula will affect the stations built inside.

That's another thing, asteroids should cause damage when you go through the field. It would certainly give the game play an interesting edge.

there was a small addon mod for stock a2 (and i always downloaded that, when i played it) that allowed building inside of nebulas. so its possible, i think.

Im not a fan of everything can stay in a nebular. But maybe just one race? or just special stations? Borg  could live in the blue nebulas without any problems. They even like nebulas, if I remember the vortex in endgame voyager season final.
