Lcars, Stellar Cartography, Or M. Systems Display

I wonder, if in the opening menus, there is the opportunity to use either an LCARS Stellar Cartography, or Master Systems Display interface.

That would be neat but not really critical, possibly an idea for V4. I like it the way it is too tho.

I absolutely agree that it is not critical. I just like how it looks, even for static backgrounds of menus. Gets the mood right.

I also think an LCARS type interface would work well when there is a few basic choices to be made, perhaps around a strategic direction.

it would look nice, but i think you would need it for each race, ie a rom for rom a borg for borg and a fed for a fed.

I was just thinking about it for the introduction. But maybe it would be too Fed biased!

o no i don't want it on the main menu, i though you meant hte ingame menu (press esc, its where you can save load games)

yea, the main screen will keep until i have finished my work on an updated design for it anyway, but it will be no lcars. as other things are more important anyway the update for the menu won't come before v4
