I'd like to request a "Launch Always" button (that will remain "Launched" even though someone makes a change in the game lobby).

i would like to see some kind of map ping so you can tell team members where to go/need help here kinda thing. like a number of other rts have.

Derailed in the first reply? Nice one cyrax :P

Yando, that is a really good idea. Even modern RTSs don't have this feature. However the problem will always be afkers, how may just press launch always and go do something, and then the game starts without them.

since there is no way for a computer to tell if somebody is afk i think it should stay as it is now. you shouldnt leave your computer if u are really ready to launch.

maybe only one person per team should have to press launch.  that way, if it launches without your teammate being ready, it is your fault for not making sure.

dont like, it means teams have to communicate a lot more, could still end up with ppl being launched who werent ready.

to me, the unlaunching serves as a good indicator that someone has changed race. so i can know what to expect.

I didn't say remove the current "Launch" button, just add a "Launch Always" (or some wording) button. It gives one options. If one wants the notification aspect of "Launch" one can still use it.

it sounds good in principle as people would then stay with their comp if they pushed the stay launch button. anyone that does go afk then only has themself to blame.
