Just some ideas for improvements from a beginner

First off I would like to say this game or mod is awsome, however after a couple days of playing it, there are some things I would like to see changed.

1)  Being able to control more than 16 ships would be nice, when I'm the borg it's no problem but if I'm the other races with alot of ships, it's kinda of a hassle having to move them all as one and setting their settings to my preferences

2)  Have it where if I double click a building (ex.shipyard) I automattically select all buildings of the same type in range and whatever changes I make to that building after double clicking it, all have the same changes made.  For example telling 4 shipyards to all start production on a ship class at the same time.

3)  Being able to summon X-wings to take out borg cubes.  JK =D

Those are my main gripes so far, I'm kinda of hoping that 1 & 2 will be addressed in the upcoming patch.

we are working on both fronts, but some of that stuff is not that easy :) but stay tuned for changes, its definitely on todo

I like the ability to select 16 ships max, promotes micromanagment.

I like the idea of of selecting multiple building, bu only turrets maybe?

Like select all of the turrets to attack one enemy. But maybe not select all ship yards, i fail to see how that would work effectively...

with the shipyards it would work easier if it selected all same type shipyards so the build buttons would match and each yard would build the same ships. multi selected turrets would be really useful.

maybe having a special key to cycle though any starbases you have (outposts, kahless stations etc) so you can quickly use its anti cloak tech and the borg matrix teleport, which is useful. atm u have to put each starbase in its own fleet,  a single button which cycled though all bases would be good.

I think what will eventually happen is that some of those abilities will be accessible from the main GUI (aka, a button on your display that stays stuck - much as the Dilithium/Tritanium/Supplies counters etc.)

Hmmmm....... I got an idea that I was thinking about... what if there was the ability to construct mixed bases? Kinda like the Kling-Fed Unity base? Though I was thinking that a major requirement would be that both one of your constructors and an allied alien constructor would both be constructing this together. Just to make it more realistic.

Since Mixed-Tech will be staying minor and ship-based, Mixed-Stations would always be map units.

I'm decently certain that we will  ^-^ - I believe the first of the abilities to be moved there will be the "purchase supplies" button, as Optec stated  a ways back that it was too annoying to keep at the Starbase. Probably requires a bunch of coding though, so I don't know when we'll see it.

that "should" be doable,  in stock A2, you needed 3 borg constructors to build that transwarp hub thing.

one would think the codes would still be there somewhere

Three of your Constructors were used. What I got from that paragraph is something about Constructors from multiple races working on the same Mixed-tech station.
