From what I have bean reading people have bean making a killing with small apps that do allot less then FO.

One good application can buy you a nice house.

I mean this in the nicest posable way one could say this.

WHY the $^@& Are you not building them?

A space game very much like fo with out star trek in it would make a killing.

You guys are supper talented you do stuff for free when supper talented people are making a killing.

If you dont like iphone there other phones that are now selling apps.

The Iphone is a capable platform but most successful apps are gimmicky and somewhat stupid. No where near the depth of fleetops, so personally I dont think it would do any "fleetops style" game justice. But Kudos if you can make an app and make some money.

developing a space game (even a simple one) from ground up is definitively nothing we could do in our free time the platform doesn't matter
