Is it possible the ISC could be added to FO, maybe as an NPC race? I'm sure you remember them from SFC2.
Everything that happened to them after the game is completely unknown and they seem like the sort to try again after a previous failure.
For anyone who hasn't played Starfleet Command, here's some information on them: Interstellar Concordium (It comes from Memory Beta, rather than Memory Alpha because they are exclusive to the SFC-Series).
Has anyone asked about them already?

i saw the picture as thought Kermit? is that you?
But more seriously. Good consept. I have stuck to Armarda, Legacy and Bridge Commander. Never really heard of them. But they seem like a somewhat muppet like Dominion. Dunno if there weapons are more powerful of ships greater then the other ALpha Quaderant races.
As interesting as they are, the other two races in fleet ops the Iconians and friends are going to be interesting.

I don't think they have a place in FO, and here's why (and I PLAY star fleet BATTLES)
The ISC, Hydrans, Lyrans, etc. come from a different universe than the Star Trek universe actually developed. The Khitomer accords were never signed, because Praxis never exploded, and everything took a different path. There is a reason for the whole "experimental ship" thing that we see in SFC:OP and it has to do with the Andromedans...who were, again, not seen in canon Trek.
The Gorn on the other hand, should definately be seen in Fleetops, as well as the Tholians (who didn't make it into SFC for some strange reason...)
Also, since the ISC were supposedly a major Gamma quadrant power, they might have lost to the Dominion.
And it's not that I dislike the ISC (although i do think they have some really really powerful builds, luckily I'm the local ISC player) but other NPC's that would make more sense to see should be there first. Like the Cardassians.

They're Beta Quadrent, not Gamma. As Memory Beta says.
And we all know that FO is a total canon whore that never uses any non-canon stuff...
Besides, the Caitians are Trek canon and they don't even come from Star Trek!

Hydrans are planned for a NPC - they are one of Optec's favorite races
So are Tholians. If you want, check out the NPC part of the guide as it has some of the factions that are planned for inclusion.

Yes, I was aware that Tholians were planned for a future NPC race, but I was trying to say that this canon race should have priority over the ISC.
I was under the impression that the devs were trying to stick to their own version of the Star Trek universe. If they're okay with a kind of mix-and match of the different trek universes created for games, then by all means, bring on the Hydran navy. I would enjoy destroying some Ranger cruisers with those annoying hornets and wasps...hornets were the more annoying ones though.
The only issue is that by the time of FO, even the latest Starfleet Command ships are 90-100 years old...it'd be interesting to see how the devs decide to scale each ship (the B'rel has scaled much better than the K'tinga, which used to be far superior)
Who here HAS SFC:OP, by the way? I'd love to get a game in some time with some other people...

Ah
Yes, I think the canon factions will probably have precedence for NPCs.
