instant replace conditions

is there a way to set a condition to replace weapons for race (say a fed const gets assimulated by the collective can you set an auto replace weapon to make the const to be like a borg vessel (build borg stations and have recrew ability) but then to go back to a normal fed const if recaptured)

The Construction ship already automaticaly replaces the original build list with the Mixed-Tech Yard of the race that captures it, looking into that might help. It activates as soon as the ship is taken by a race.

yh thats to do with the build list codes what i was wanting is prob better explained in my mod concept post found here

Actually, the Construction Ship's build list doesn't really change, the game simply does not show buildings not permitted to be built by another race. All the stations are in the one build list.
So as an example, Fed Construction Ship is assimilated by Borg, none of the Feds buildings are permitted to be built by non-Feds, but the Mixed-Tech Yard is specific for Borg, so only the Borg MTYard appears in the list. If you take a look at the build menu, its all in there, just you can't see the things in-game unless u are the required race.
I've tried looking into this before to add some structures to a captured Constructors list, but met with complications I don't fully understand how to overcome.
Blade is asking if you can set a replaceweapon to trigger at an event, such as when a ship is captured/assimilated, which I do not know the answer to.

nope relace weapons can not be "triggered" by certain events, like a change of the owner race, and i dont think thats to change within the next patches
