is it possible to combine beaming and a crew killing hidden specialweapon simultaneously? Then we could have stronger boarding.

The Borg have a stornger crew strength in the race odf. Every other race is identical, though some should be better fighters than others.
If you want to fix the flaw FO transporters, open RTS_CFG.H (base directory) and search for Transporter parameters. You could change the boarding party strength (boardingpartystrength = X.X) to give them an actually noticable advantage, but you'd need to edit all appropriate ship odfs.
The Transportes do need an upgrade, it can take a small fleet of them to take a Sabre in any worthwhile time....

Well, boarding isn't supposed to be an integral part of combat - after all, how many times in the Dominion War did we see big battles where everybody is transporting crew onto each other's ships?

cloaked ships
As long as decloaking is more difficult I feel ok. I hope Rom will not end up as the weakest race again...

I'm sure once the cost goes down for them it won't be such an issue. That has always been the problem in this patch, is that they were just too damned expensive.
