Idea for borg mixed tech

Ok we all know that atm borg mixed tech only effects the least built ship in the borg collective.
My idea is that the borg build a mixed tech yard of a race as normal, BUT, instead of then building modules for the Adaptor, make it that when a ship is assimilated it can be deconstructed at the mixed tech yard, giving the borg a defence against that race of 2% of that ships offensive abilities.
BUT only the ships of a race will go to their mixed tech yard, so an assimilated fed ship goes to the borg's fed fixed tech yard, roms to theirs, etc, etc.
Its not enough to unbalance the game but puts the borg mixed tech to better use, it also makes priorities change, for example here a sovvy would be better than a decent, but a negh'var would be a good target....
thought?

Im not sure how something like this would be implemented, but it sounds good to me. Here is my question though. Why would people even build the adaptor now?
Personally, I wish the tech assimilator would come back. Of course, for balance certian abilities would have to be off limits: Cloaking, Repair Beam, fighter launch, other borg abilities, ect.(the V2 adaptor with sphere regen and an auto assimilator beam was just insane), but it is definately a borgy thing to assimilate relavant technology.
lol, it would really suck to get the descent shield recharger though.

well when deconstructing a ship you get resources for it, i think the script would work the same.
Noone builds the addaptor anyway, mabye if it was given an ability to ay repair borg vessels then it could be used as a borg support ship.

I personally think that the largest and most powerful of the Borg vessels should have the option of buying Adaptive Shield modules. Sacrifice firepower/regeneration rate/holding beam modules for the shields, letting the Cube or Sphere or maybe even a Diamond stay in a fight against heavy odds longer.
Would certainly put the focus back to 'few ships' for the Borg.

How abort the Assimlated Constructor can build a second type of Collective Uplink that builds the same ships as the standard, but all come with the Passive adaption already in? No module needed.
