Ice Wormhole?? huh?!
Wormholes arent made of any material, its not from rocks or anything, and not from ice either...
Wormholes are just a special kind of energy/matter stream, if i really need to give it a material class, i would say its in plasma aggregate (wich is by our current state of technology the fourth aggregate-state (consistent/liquid/gas/plasma).
Ice is consistent and it will actually disrupt the wormhole i think. Because Wormholes transfer consistent/liquid/gas/etc. matters from one point to another, but if the wormhole itself is made of a collideable object, that creates 2 big problems:
- the wormhole will transfer itself!!! from one point to the other continously, wich will lead it to be closed quickly, in my opinion.
- the entering objects will collide with the matter of the wormhole and they reach the other end fragmented to tiny pieces...

I don't know what a better name for it might be but i still think it looks pretty cool!
I don't know but to me it looks more like the ones in the show than the regular ones do it just seems to give a better impression of the energy that must be present to warp space the way a wormhole does.

Looks cool, but the ice thing just doesn't cut it. However, if someone comes up with more believable technobabb;e to justify it, I'm in!
