i whood wont this to be simaler to a nebula. in this ice feeld if you stay in it to long you will resve damege over a long perid of time from chunks of ice and rock impacting the ship.

Hmm I'm glad Doc and Optec balanced appearance with gfx requirements. No offense ewm90 but I think the screenshot you posted would be pretty darned laggy, combining asteroids with nebulaic clouds, add a few ships in there and poof...

Yeah, esspesially with larger ships like the Descent and Tavara (Mostly the Descent on my computer, I don't know why.)

Take care of physical laws. Is it possible that there is ice in space or will water or ice change into H²O-gas (the third aggregate of water)....finally i dont think that ice will harm a ship with shieldings or any armor. In fact I don´t know how water reacts in space.
