yes, scimitar is on low priority todo for a next release as a placeable map object.

placeable map object.

You mean like "stationary"? Or placeable via the mapeditor?

O-o Strange, in my memories the nose is much shorter and doesnt taper off. Didnt it look more rectanular or is it maybe just the angle of view that i see something wrong ?

the real thing does look a bit different anyway, looking at that screenshot in the first post i feel some aspects of the movie model are missing/doesn't look right. but could be the perspective indeed

on the other hand i am sure that model wasn't quite easy to do looking at the screencap from the movie ;)

How can Scimitar be in? Data destroyed it.

They probably built another. If not the Remans than the Tal Shi'ar or Romulan navy. I would say they wouldn't try to dabble with the radiation weapon, but the uber-cloak would certainly interest them (completly undetectable and could be fired through).

It's only a map object, it doesn't have to fit in the story...

well i dont think the scimitar features new technology. the remans are a race of slaves, i cant imaging them building a technologically uber advanced battleship one week after gaining power ;) all the stuff was romulan technology if you ask me. but well such discussions lead to nowhere.
Yep i can think of the scimitar as a map object for some future version :)

So not 'the' Scimitar, but a Scimitar Class?

Ummm, don't get me wrong, but wasn't the Scimitar a one-of-a-kind ship personally constructed for a now deceased Romulan dictator?

The Reman warbird Scimitar was a massive warship constructed by Shinzon as part of a secret plot to overthrow the Romulan Senate and liberate the subjugated natives of Remus.

the scimitar won't be buildable for the romulans like the federation wouldn't build dominion destroyers ;)
