I WANT SPEED!

I was just curious, sorry if its been asked before, would it be possible to add the speed rating of the ships to the stats? It would be nice just to help people with groupings to keep ships the same speed together. Just figured it would be nice to see an actuall number rather then just someone to build a ship and see how slow it is in action.

Also thought that maybe there could be a tooltip added that would tell you what a ships stats and what it gains when you vet it, just would be nice to see what it becomes before you commit the vet slots on it.

For the 'speed in tooltip' one, I agree with that. It's only a small line and the tooltips are pretty small, having plenty of space for a single short line.

For the 'veteran info', I'm not so sure. You'd need a veteran tooltip for every class.

yes for tooltips containing speed,

no for tooltips containing stats for other ranks.

I remember in one of the older versions of FO, think it was 2 something where you could hover over a ship and it would tell you all its specials in addition to its stats, i kinda miss that. Now when I vet a ship I end up sitting there comparing the new equipment changes to a non vet one. Guess im just wondering if theres a better way to show the difference between a vet and a non vet ship. Altho I still think it would be nice to know what your ship would turn into before you commit it.

i would support:

hovering over the promote to veteran button tells u what it gets. that wouldnt be in the way as its on the button not the ship.

Odf numbers would increase; you'd need a veteran odf for each class.

There are currently 14 veteran upgrade odfs. 2-11 slots, 23 slots, Defender, Phalanx and Tavara.

oh u mean the odf for the button, i thought u meant odf for the unit lol.

yh that probably would need more button odfs.
