Forum search is your friend: there are probably a dozen seperate threads on the Noxter, about the same for the Ciadan... and maybe six for the Iconians.

To sumarize: the Noxter are a space-borne collection of species (an ecosystem of sorts).. it'll be like controlling an ant swarm in terms of playstyle. The Founders experimented with their species to create the Jem'Hadar.

The Iconians lost the battle with the Borg, retreated to alternate realities where they controlled the galaxy, and are back with a vengeance. In playstyle, they don't use resources, but it takes time to bring in ships from other realities. They will specialize in psionic warfare etc and are extremely arrogant.

The Ciadan lived on a planet shifted into subspace which drifted into the Andromeda galaxy. They learned how to survive outside of subspace and journeyed back to their home galaxy. They are extremely technologically able, and allied with the Romulans. Their ships are mostly computer controlled, and they only rely on dilithium as a resource. They harvest other species to use as their "central processors".

EDIT; some spelling errors...

Hehe, the Ciadan aren't willfully nefarious like the Shadows at least :P . As Optec put it, they didn't mean to harm anyone, really  :whistling:

The Ciadan also use Dyson spheres around moons to take resources, and all their stations are armed  :D . It'll be cool  ^-^

Think little mini ones encasing moons.

Yup, exactly RCIX: nobody can mine from those moons until the Dyson Spheres surrounding them are destroyed.

Wow.  I wonder how they will pull that off.

I actually have a reason to play them now...

i hope you guys arent planning on making them out of carbon neutronium.  like the big dysons.  supposedly its impervious to weapons.  thats actually a nifty little gameplay element.  i suppose you could go out and start dysoning up all of the moons so that you opponent cant use them right away.

i was just wondering if the iconicans will have the ability to transport
thier ships like they were thought to be able to in the shows? also willl the
cidians have other things seen in the shows but were never really identified,
as belonging to one rase or another?

or is all of that still in the works?
