Hidden weapons

Is there any plans to set the other races special weapons to remain hidden when not researched like the Borg ones?

Is there any plans to set the other races special weapons to remain hidden when not researched like the Borg ones?

i dont like this idea. i prefer it the way it is now, where ships can see what the special will be when researched. as its only 1 special per ship usually.

with the borg there are so many that having them visible would be silly.

yep i think researchable abilities should be shown even if not researched, while "added" abilities like the collective features should only be visible of present.

I like the idea of hiding alien abilities, will note that down
