Hard Points

Is is possible to use hard points in that way that you can model a phaser gun or phaser relay or something like that onto the ship hull by what means weapons are seen to be shot out there. Those guns should also be aligned on its opponent in battle action.
The other point was: What do you think of the ability to order several ships to attack specific places on the opponent ship e.g. only shields or engines so that you can work in a more efficient way in battle. Each system attack would cause a higher rate of weapons miss its target. Could hard points be used for that?
Third point was: Is it possible, that you can set your star bases battle action in that way that you can order to shoot in several directions ( splitting phasers - imagine a Borg base) for small sized ships or concentrated shots for hugh ships by klicking on the corresponding buttons ( in AI menu). So what I actually wanna say is can I set my star base I control in that way that it makes it behave like this.

u can easily get the starbase to have multiple targetting phasers there are some mods out there that do it for ships i remember seeing a galaxy class being able to shoot multiple targets same as a cube so the starbase idea should be feasible
as for hardpoints it already part of the game but its just too specific as the detail isnt high enough

system targeting i can not see why this is impossible we alredey have special weapons that can disable systems and nebulars, i can not see why there can not be a button to attack shield gen each hit takes 5% off say?

well, those would problybly be even easier to make, since that special weapon is set to disable a random system, but note: disable, not destroy
if it would be possible, i would also like to see a special weapon on a ship, that would disrupt a random system, but you could target a specific one, like weapons or engines, it could be a great support ship

Im pretty sure u cant make a ship target specific systems thus reducing its accuracy and actually killing off that system :S
Yes nebulas and special weapons exist that DISABLE them, not destroy. But seriously I dont know

First It isn't possible to make turrets (I think this is what your asking) there is no way to animate a model so it faces an enemy or animate weapons hardpoints at all (ive tried this one myself).
Second Your ship can target a specific system (if you look at a ships odf it will have system hardpoints e.g. "shieldhardpoints =" and these are the hardpoints that corrispond to the shields being hit) but you cannot control which system your ship is going to shoot at so basically specific systems can't be targeted except with one of special weapons which I think (though im not sure) can be made to damage specific systems aswell as dissable.
Multi targeting starbases are possible but it isn't really possible to switch a starbase between multi targeting and normal targeting, unless of course you use pods attached to the starbase as these will fire independently of each other and so could be made to attack different objects.
