Game lobby chat

I'm sure this is not a new idea but: I would like to see lobby chat enabled for FO, without the need for Gamespy.

One could logon, hang out in the multiplayer lobby and organize games from there and then be able to more quickly get a game started.

Yes that would be nice - I assume you mean when in the LAN(TCP/IP) area

Well, if people who get disconnected can try some of the new vpn's tom has suggested, one of those might have a better chat function.  I have a rockstar-five ladies are waiting in my dressing room- kind of internet connection, so it wouldn't do me any good to check it out.  So if you play online and you're having disconnecting problems, try them out!
