I was hoping we could come up with some FO canon heroes for the Campaign when it comes out. I was thinking for the feds there be an experienced, and a rising hero (that saves the day in the final mission). For the Klingons, Worf is the answer with no doubt. The Romulans, I believe that their campaign would have one main leader of all the operations, and then the hero of the mission (Which gets killed by the leader so that neither of them can trace her steps and find out her plans). The Borg don't need one, they got a Collective. The Dominion will maybe have a new Vorta that is rather obsessed with killing Fed's outposts and bases.

Fed Hero: USS Descent
Class: Descent
Captain: Herald Vhienhr
Rank: Rear Admiral (Jr. Grade)
Personality: Very "By the book, except when the book says nothing" type of personality.

Rising Fed hero: USS Nile
Class: Mir II
Captain: Illa Paris (The Granddaughter of Tom and B'Ellana Paris)
Rank: Captain
Personality: Similar to Tom's Quirky personality.

Klingon Hero: IKV Kahless
Class: Negh'Var
Captain: Worf
Rank: General

Romulan Leader: RWB Rhe'Naru
Class: T'Verix (A new type of Warbird that has been kept secret by the highest members of the Tal'Shiar, rumored to have some Reman-based weaponry, many Romulans try not to defy her)
Captain: (To be named by the devs)
Rank: Admiral

Dominion Hero: (To be decided by the devs)
Class: (To be decided by the devs)
Vorta: (To be decided by the devs)

Keep in mind when suggesting things for the campaign that A) it won't be developed for a very loooong time, and B ) that their campaign is based on an RPG so they most likely have their hero units already picked out :)

Besides, Worf isn't a Klingon General, he's a Federation Ambassador. Martok should still be around, though.

yep, Martok plays an important role in the Fleet Operations storyline. Thats why he is available as an avatar either way :) He is is still the chancellor of the official Klingon Empire, and the leader of a the most honored house. A powerful, but dangerous combination.
The Klingon economy suffered more from the Dominion War, then the Federation or Romulan economy did. There are also voices, that don't accept the victory over the Dominion as an act of honor, as it was achieved through an alliance with the Federation. Martoks pro-Federation course is not popular throughout all the council. That the Federation sends a lot of economic aid to the Empire, does not realy help in that topic. Especially the Klingon Economy claims that Martok is selling the Empire to the Federation, and that hes not a man of honor.
While the Dominion War is a shining success in Martoks career, the Empire is still facing their most unstable situation since the destruction of Praxis. Let's see what the future will lead us to. With Honor!

You do realise that Illa Paris would only be in her mid 20's?

She's be the youngest Captain in Starfleet

*cough* Keep the avatars in mind *cough*

:whistling: I said it before and I'll say it again: The avatars will probably be the bulk of the campaign-heroes.

True, though I don't have the info about what images are from where  ^-^. However, I have seen all those images before in the shows - Just watch thru TNG and DS9 again and you should be able to spot them :D

Nice to have Optec post tid-bits, woot  :D
