it would be 94 mb too, so no reason for a 'lite' version. i see no reason for it

yep. FleetOps has no odfs, sods, textures and sounds in common with a2.. the few small files which could be used from a armada2 installation would make no difference to the size of the installer

as you may or may not know my cd & burner have gone bust on me and at the mo i'm stuck with a cd patch to get games to work and i'm having to get fleet ops from someone else (the directory from the game and all the files ) via instant message may be in case any one else gets this problem u could place the root directory on the downloads section (minus the cd patch) so if there cd goes bust they can still install it and find a patch of there own.

don't bother it don't work after a whole night of downloading from edonkey it failed to work it just kept crashing as soon as the game (not the menu screens but the battle it's self) started

well the people that dont have a working cd and are used to jus having a blank a2 folder that tehy replacate and install mods into, than use a no cd hack or the like, or in the case of my friend his cd will play but wont let him install.

the issue which causes more undefinded crashes is too big then, so there will be no such version, we also would support people who never bought that game and i don't see a reason why people who lost or crushed their cd not get a new one then. just contact activision.

when u contact activision u have to pay full and p&p which works out more than going down town and getting one your self

there are enough ways to get a replacement cd
how can you loose a buyed cd anyway? what are you doing with your cd's?

no if you lose an cd and phone activision they charge you full price for a new one and postage and packing so it will cost more to get an replacement cd than it will to go down town is what i meant

I am working with a backup copy of my Armada2 CD due to the original one having gotten badly scratched over time. I have installed Fleet Operations and have tried to replace the Armada2.tgt file with the No CD executable. I have attempted to rename the file with a .tgt extension but the Fleet Operations executable does not recognize the .tgt Armada No CD application. The problems seems to be that I am not truly changing the type of file (file extension). Also if I click on the Armada 2 .exe that has been renamed supposedly as a .tgt file it still activates Fleet Operations but crashes out on clicking Instant Action. What am I doing wrong?
