Firing Arcs listed on weapons.

Right now the only way to find out firing arcs of weapons is either from experience or from Dom's guide. I was wondering if it would be simple enough to add the direction and angle of firing for every weapon that isn't 360 degrees This would help new players in understanding different ship roles.

I guess this is in a similar vein to Dom's suggestion of adding size and vessel-type classification to the tooltips; it would be useful, but not vital.

That would be really useful.  Especially w/ Klingons.  I can't really speak for most of the other races, but it seems Klingons really don't have too many ships capable of firing from the rear......which is exactly how a Klingon would want it!

This would be very useful, very useful indeed. Just like it was in SFC3.

I wonder if mousing over a weapon in the ship display could show a circle/semicircle/arc of where that weapon can actually fire and its range?

I was just going to suggest that great minds think alike. It would be nice to have a pie shape showing the range and if applicable the firing arc

i agree we have had this in mind from the beginning. is on the to do list it will maybe even get like the sfc pie chart.
