Any chances to expand the support with some new ships/classes?
Would love to see the Excalibur class in this nice mod
DATABASE

It also has an equal design to the Descent class.

Excalibur isn't going to be in. Generally, people seem to consider it 'too big' or excessive (Curse you, common sense! >:(). Strange how this sight claims it's shorter than a Galaxy, having only 32 decks...
More Warp-Ins will likely be included, though. The New Orleans (that's the correct one, right?) will be added, most likely as a Warp-In.

Far better would be various hero units having a very small % chance to be warpins (no enterprise of course, that'd just be overkill for 7 merciless borg AIs even :p ).
From ships represnting community/dev members (The Venture refit in your sig as example, tyler) to various ships from the shows/books (one example: USS Da Vinci , from the SCE (starfleet corps of enginers) series. Basicly, a sabre class with a special that lets it repair ships/stations. Give it better stats than a stock veteran Sabre, the phaser from a veteran sabre, and a double shot photon or quantum tube. It'd have a minor impact, but not over powering, it'd just be one of those 'wow neat' nods.).
Prehaps, if enough are submitted, have a 'request veteran ship' option on warp in. It'll consume 3 warp in slots, and not level up, but also not count against the veteran cap, however it'll also always consume warp in slots, limiting the number you can have.

I'm sorry, but that won't happen. We have the ranking-system ingame and veterans are your personal chosen "hero-vessels".

Which ship? The Excalibur isn't included in FO, the New Orleans is not included yet and the Descent was only mentioned to have a similar design to the Excalibur. Also the McKinley station is only a map object on Multiplayer.

I think you're dealing with people to whom MP is a secondary concern
.

Then you are posting in the wrong forum-section.

Ideas and feature requests are for Multiplayer.

Nah, Ideas and Feature requests is for people to make... feature requests
. Doesn't matter if it is SP or MP, though of course what is considered depends on feasibility, balance, etc

No, they're for the mod, of which multiplayer is a component.

I've never understood why people have the urge to scale up the new star ship designs for either RP or RTS.
Personally i think smaller designs make things far more interesting. E.g. a variant of the Intrepid, Steamrunner or Norway class. Do you really want to put all your eggs in a single basket. Think of the loss of the mighty Yamato (either the Japanese or the Galaxy Class).

I´m for all in except some basically ugly designs
I just love the Excalibur from the design so that´s why I just asked.
Had some ideas about the "Olympic class" ... as I mentioned above ... ugly classes ... to well designed ... anyway ... the idea behind this class in general is to support you vessels (if too strong you can limit these up to two or three
)
Pics are attached as well as the rendered and implemented model for Star Trek Online.
and some information about it:
FSD: Starship Database - Olympic-class
I dont know which possibilities are given with the scripting but if possible it could give nearby ships a regeneration bonus for shields and hp OR it could give defense bonus for all ships nearby with a special power OR it could passively regenerate the crew for nearby allied ships ... or ... or ... there are a lot of possibilities with this class if you got enough ideas and know what to do with them.

loads of sites stop u linking to their images like that. U can save the image and attach seeing as the web is so big now
Or u can save the image and upload to imageshack (or similar sites) and link to that.
