How about this ship:

remade using parts from this ship:

I would call it the Fragarach Class dreadnought, and you could only have one of them at a time, as it would essentially be a mobile starbase, stronger than the Tavara but also slower.

I like most of the second ship, but the nacelles and their pylons look wrong to me.
As for a Federation Dreadnought - that idea has come and gone before. A big reason is style - the Federation does not put that many resources into a single vessel. Instead they focus on more smaller ships. There are some large vessels (Sovereign, Galaxy, etc), but the trend has been downward in size. Ships like the Intrepid, Nova, Saber, Norway, Steamrunner show that the average size of Federation ships is getting smaller, not bigger. The FleetOps staff noticed this and has taken the game along that line.
Dreadnoughts will live on in the fleets of Romulans and Dominion where they can be used, not only as weapons of war, but as impressive shows of power. That is something the Federation does not do.

Ah the Yamato, beautiful ship that is the top Federation ship in KA2 Out of curiosity where did you find that model? It's different stylistically to my usual ships, but I am sure it could be adapted to replace the old KA model I have.

The pylons are horizontal like the Intrepid, so they might look odd because of the angle. Having the blue glow on both top and bottom is kinda different.

Last time I saw the Yamato was in SFC, the original. It was a good ship if I recall, though I dont remember much from the game.
