Federation Avatar.

So i know theres already the idea for a section 31, but i was thinking about something else, that i belive could be an awesome avatar. 

Now we all know that the feddies are about keeping old ships and reffitng, and defense and all that crap. And all about having white ships....

So my idea for another avatar would be: Alternate timeline, or I.S.S

This i belive could be a very cool avatar, first off, the ships could be like black or somthing, but secondly it could get a little bit away from all the federations ideals,

First off: Maybe some older ships are still in production, like steam or nebula, or galaxy, or new miranda mk 2 (or not thats cool too please dont just read that and run with it its just a possible suggestion this is only brainstorming here)

Second: Maybe some of the other ships might not be so defense oriented, as were no so concerned with peace

Another idea is maybe, these feddies have a few ships that cloak, since they arnt federation, and there evil guys who dont care about no federation cant have cloak agreement.

These are just a few ideas, but basically, its just that alternate timeline idea/ I.S.S

I think it would be a really cool addition, please bring some more ideas to the table, id love to hear them.

I like Terrans, and there's plenty of Mirrors around. Wouldn't making the Feds into Terrans require replacing almost everything with a twisted version of the norm, though?

Great as the Terrans are, they're pretty much a Human version of the Dominion.

I still support this though, I can't stress that enough.

how would they be in game, our game is set in the prime universe, any terrans would be displaced, without support from their economy etc. like nomads. i would prefer them as minor races/npcs maybe. like the cardies

They're stuck ing a new universe with no miners, processing plants or construction ships. Could cause a bit of a problem for conquerors.

indeed as tyler said, they wouldn't even have a strong economy in their own universe seeing as the alliance enslaved the terrans. right now the terrans are a rebellion, in control of the bajor system, and possibly a handful of others, their only real ships are the defiant and maybe worf's stupidly oversized neggie which they probably stole.

EDIT: ray it appears to be you who is smoking something

the terran empire WAS a powerful entity, in ANOTHER universe. so to be in fleet ops they would have to reform somehow since DS9's crossover episodes and then come over to our universe. they are not a serious threat.

Though some other counterparts of the Terran Empire fared better (due to Kirk not screwing them over), even their economy still isn't likely to be that good.

Too war obsessed to focus on smarter goals.

The devs have stated in the past they didn't want any alternate universe stuff too.  :sweatdrop: But maybe NPC or something? I don't know  :blush:

Mirror universe stuff as NPC-stations or ships is believable and I recommend to add those things to NPC-factions.
A full mirror-universe-avatar (no matter which faction) isn't believable at all.

A limited economy didnt stop the empire from trying to conquer the Federation in Star Trek Online.
