Facebook Like

Just an idea (not sure if I even "like" it): Add a FB Like button on the homepage (maybe under the Paypal button). This would allow us to utilize people's FB walls as a little bit more advertisement.

can anything be done to stop the forum automatically turning facebook urls into a mix of german and symbols that confuse me?

German forum .

It just says Not supportet Browser. The ü in unterstützter (supportet) is just making some trouble. Like everywhere.

And I block Facebook, the like button and its cookies because facebook is setting an facebookcookie on every side with the like button for many years. So facebook knows everything about you just because of the like button even if you are not on facebook.

German forum .

I understand that, now u explained what the phrase means, it sounds like the problem is on facebook's end, not giving a simple page title to the forum. I didnt even know it was a german phrase cos of the issue with the umlaut.

Nicht unterstützter Browser = Not supportet browser. Thats all. Don't know what this exactly means.

Maybe the name is not send or the forum don't understand. I don't know SMF...

maybe facebook always wants to detect the user's browser to provide all the fancy features. And smf reports a browser that facebook doesnt like when it tries to get the page title.
