Env/Asthetic: Planet background

(just a thought)

Give us one or more backgrounds that have a huge planet such that it feels like we're fighting much closer to a planet. It would give a similar feel to the DS9 ending battles around Cardassia.

This would have the added benefit of having more colorful maps as opposed to the standard "on black" or "on bluish" maps.

"Homeworld 2" had some dazzeling background effects.

The same could be said about "Sins of a Solar Empire," except those planets are actually part of the game.
