energy recharge weapon

right i know it is possible to have a weapon to recharge special energy automatically

what i would like is for this weapon to work even when not in combat (eg if a ship is close to a station it recharges quicker) also i would like to have it to be able to set different recharge rates per ship (eg it provides an akira 50 units of energy per wave but gives a defiant just 20 units of energy per wave)

if these are already possible please let me know how to do it

I think the first one is easily done: Just create area of effect weapon (use that of the stock's borg harmony thingy) which has an energy drain rate below the energy regeneration rate, so you can use it permanently.

I'm not sure about the second.

thats  great the only problem with the 1st one is that it only works if its in combat range atm unless i'm missing something.

so when you say next patch do u mean fo3.1.2 or fo3.1.3

hehe there is a lot on todo that wont be in 3.1.2 :D otherweise we would be quite in some trouble for getting a 4.0 :D
