Why do i have the sneaking suspicion that you don't play borg?

It's ok :)

Everyone has their own preference I guess. But IMO most members of the community will be content with the dominion changes if ever implemented.

the objective is to make the side more canon. and this will do it.

Also, the resource management will not at all be overwhelming as is being implied. It merely involves the addition of once more resource which is no different from the borg's priority, yet it will be simpler than borg priority as that truly is a separate resource, whereas here we are reprocessing an existing resource and reducing its direct role in gameplay.

Those who would prefer a more simplistic interface will still have the romulans, feds and klings.

Also, if we do look at the larger picture, the Dominion currently have to manage supply. We are moving away from a direct management of supply here, as we are indicating that dominion supply requirements (except for Breen ships and prototypes) will be cut.
In effect we are managing supply still as was requested, but instead of renaming supply as K-cel and letting it die, we are renaming it by actually reprocessing in game.

In effect we are retaining the same dynamic and the same management - not at all adding a separate resource - but with the inclusion of the additional step and the additional demarcation of K-cel vs raw supply, we are able to introduce a more canon and robust game style for the Dominion.

I hope this helped clarify what is intended here. :)

to digress a bit here.

the new collective connections setup is along the same lines of what we are suggesting for K-cel white.
If that is fun, now I see no reason we should fear this.
