I agree it would make some races far more viable against the dominion than others. For example, for the ramming thing to work you need engines right? Well a Sovereign disables everything's engines for quite a large radius, so right there the Feds have a huge advantage (later in the game anyway).

Of course this could be balanced like in the C&C games where some races are great in the beginning but don't really have any advanced weapons, and vice versa. This makes for very interesting battle strategies anyway.

Level 2 - Tachyon Detection Grid (passive)
Yep, this ability should also sound familiar. And yep, you are right. On level 2 the Canaveral gains the ability to immediately detect any cloaked vessels within it's sensor range. That makes the Canaveral extreme powerful if playing against nasty romulans or klingons, cause it can act like a mobile sensor station.

this wepond is more afective aginst some races.
