Dominion Avatar: Cardassian Alliance

When playing as the dominion, we have the option of having the Breen on our sides. Don't you think it would only be fair to have the option of Cardassians too?

Most probably come to the same conclusion; The Cardassians would never ally with the Dominion again and whoever feels otherwise doesn't know DS9.

That last one was my opinion, but if you saw it, you should know it's fairly accurate.

true, dont think cardassians would ally again with the dominion after the mass slaughter in the dominion war

discussed already. cardies will not be included as playable.
they will be included as NPCs and as Mercenaries which will be playable.
They wont be named mercenaries per se - but the way it will work will be along those lines.

We even proposed a list of race specific mercenaries being available. Read thru the forums, and ull find that this has been discussed pretty intensively.

Though, of course, many people playing Fleet Ops don't realise the Devs have their own story-ideas, or that the Devs have shifted the time period to a decade-or-so after the Dominion War. So for people who play with a mid-Dominion-War mindset, the Cardassian option could be quite interesting... *shrugs*

Heh, the more i think about the time-period shift and the story-ideas, the more i dream about single-player missions the Devs might create some day in the distant future

It would be nice if there were some background to the game. Maybe a timeline or just something to describe whats happening now in the world of fleetops.
