Different parts os species

well i was thinking about this, nwo im not saying new avatar, but should some ships for races reflect there members, so for romulans remans

for dominion of course, we have breen

but i was thinking for feds, wouldnt it be cool to have a completly unfedish design by like vulcans? or sombody like that, bajoran? i think itd be really cool to see

i thought of a vulcan avatar for the feds, too.

but did the continue building their own ship style after the federation was founded?

a section31 avatar would be cool, but a could result in a bad copy of the rommies...

One must distinghuish the difference between the Federation and Starfleet. The Federation consists of many member planets, who might have their own yards, vessels and perhaps even military. Those are Federation vessels or directly belong to the administration of the planet or a privat man (without using "USS" in the name, like yachts on risa for example).
In times of conflict Starfleet acts on behalf of the Federation. You might compare Starfleet to Nato Troops. So basically we should rename the race into Starfleet instead of Federation, but Federation is a much more common term

But we have some plans to bring more of the Federation aspect in in the future, though not within avatars.

vulcans maybe use own ships for civil operations. Like all the other members of the federation. But members of the federation normaly uses Starfleet ships for military missions.
There are some starfleet vessels which has non human crew. Like the USS T'Kumbra
It's a bit strange that we see mostly human crew, they should be more mixed crews to represent the whole federation.

Reminds me of the BOTF game, that had this in it.
I'm more for other race's ships as warp-in (with a low chance though)... but I remember I've posted this before in another thread about this topic.
