Descent Class

hi

i think that the descent class should be stronger, i mean c'mon it's the strongest starfleet ship. It's also much less powerfull than the tavara, i realize that the tavara is much more expencive, but it also has cloack and a special weapon. I would like to see the descent to have special weapons(something like the sheild that the sovereign had in A1), so that the federation also has a ship which can do something on its own, and does not have to depend on a fleet to do serious damage.

Yep, the shieldings of the Descent have been increased. If you chose Admiral Risner as your Avatar the Descent will also get a special ability.

I think the descent is strong enough as it is, I mean don't forget that burst of quantom torpedos, that does a lot of damage.

yes but it's still not strong enough, remember, it's the biggest federation ship

And what about the klingons? They have no strong special ships, if you dont count the Bortas wich has no real weapons except the nebula.

I agree, all the rases should have at least 1 special station and 1 special ship.

All the Klingons need are the Bortas and the con ships, so their fine. Feds suck because their ships are matched with other races, not higher like they should be. Since feds dont have any special weapons they need stronger ships, like saber and akira could use torpedos, gal and sov phaser stronger, etc...

yeah i totaly agree, all races should be balanced, except for the borg, cus their strong as hell anyway, so they should be extremely expencive.

I suppose they are strong as hell when balanced, right now their about 1/5th of what they should be in this game and like 1/50 of what they should be in shows.
